Who is Craftboxx?

Craftboxx is a German job-management app for craft and trades businesses, centered on the Plantafel, a scheduling board for planning crews, plus job and order management, site photo documentation, time tracking and timesheets, absence management, and resource planning for tools, vehicles, and materials. The crew app works offline and speaks six languages, including Polish, Romanian, Spanish, and Ukrainian, which fits how German trade crews are actually staffed.

Pricing is refreshingly simple: 15.99 euros per user per month billed annually, or 19.99 euros billed monthly, with a 14-day free trial and cancellation at the end of any billing period. There are no tiers to decode and a REST API is included.

What Craftboxx does not do is run your front office. Invoicing, estimates, payments, a phone system, customer texting, online booking, and marketing are not part of the advertised product. It plans and documents the work; winning the work and billing it happen elsewhere.

Who is Autopilot?

Autopilot is an all-in-one CRM built for home service businesses: junk removal, cleaning, landscaping, moving, and the rest of the trades that keep neighborhoods running. Plans start at $49 a month for scheduling, estimates, invoicing, payments, and online booking. Crew at $99 adds two-way texting and limited calling. Full Throttle at $149 adds the full phone system, AI receptionist, QuickBooks, GPS, and marketing tools. Plans include 1, 5, or 10 team members respectively.

It was built by a founder who ran his own junk removal company and got tired of paying for three tools that didn't talk to each other. Over 400 businesses run on it today, and it holds a 4.8 rating on the App Store and 4.9 on Google Play.

Against Craftboxx, Autopilot covers both halves of the business: it wins the job on the phone with an AI receptionist, then schedules it, invoices it, and follows up, all in one flat plan.

The bottom line

Two different tools for two different businesses. Here is the honest split.

Choose Craftboxx if…

  • You run a German trades crew and mainly need scheduling and documentation
  • Your crew speaks Polish, Romanian, Spanish, or Ukrainian and needs the app to match
  • You already have invoicing handled elsewhere and want a cheap planning board
  • You want simple per-user pricing with no tier shopping

Choose Autopilot if…

  • You run a home service business in the US or Canada
  • You need estimates, invoicing, and payments in the same app as the schedule
  • You want the phone answered by an AI receptionist, included in the plan
  • You want reviews, texting, and marketing campaigns driving new jobs
  • You want a flat $49 to $149 a month instead of per-user seats

Switching from Craftboxx takes an afternoon

Four steps, and our team does the heavy one for you.

  1. 1

    Export your customers

Pull your client list out of Craftboxx as a CSV. Every FSM platform supports this, and it takes about five minutes.

  2. 2

    We import everything for you

Send us the file and our team loads your customers, jobs, and price book into Autopilot as part of free onboarding. No spreadsheet wrestling on your end.

  3. 3

Point your phone number at Autopilot

On Full Throttle, keep your existing business number. We port it or forward it, so calls start landing in Autopilot with recording, transcripts, and the AI receptionist behind them.

  4. 4

Run both for a week, then cut over

Your Craftboxx account keeps working during your free trial. Most crews book their first Autopilot job on day one and cancel the old subscription within the month.
