Autopilot vs Wise Software

Wise Software is the veteran of pool software, and if you run a pool store plus service routes, its service-and-retail combination with Pool360 ordering is hard to find elsewhere. Autopilot is the better fit for a service-first crew that wants modern tools, a phone that answers itself, online booking, and marketing, at one flat price.

Who is Wise Software?

Wise Software is one of the oldest names in pool software, an independent company that has been at it for over three decades. Its Enterprise product is an all-in-one for pool and spa businesses that run both service routes and a retail storefront: recurring billing, work orders, scheduling and route optimization, inventory, water test readings, a customer portal, and an integration with Pool360, the ordering system from PoolCorp, the industry's dominant distributor.

Pricing is published and per technician: $39.99 a month per tech for the service product, with the retail side an additional $49.99 a month per site. Mobile apps cover iOS, Android, and Windows, with offline support and SMS/RCS messaging. For a company running a pool store, having point of sale and service routes in one system is the genuine draw.

The tradeoff is age and focus. There is no AI receptionist, no built-in phone system, no online booking, and no marketing tools advertised, and the per-tech meter grows with your crew. Wise is back-office and counter software; the job of making your phone ring and answering it stays yours.

Who is Autopilot?

Autopilot is an all-in-one CRM built for home service businesses: junk removal, cleaning, landscaping, moving, and the rest of the trades that keep neighborhoods running. Plans start at $49 a month for scheduling, estimates, invoicing, payments, and online booking. Crew at $99 adds two-way texting and limited calling. Full Throttle at $149 adds the full phone system, AI receptionist, QuickBooks, GPS, and marketing tools. Plans include 1, 5, or 10 team members respectively.

It was built by a founder who ran his own junk removal company and got tired of paying for three tools that didn't talk to each other. Over 400 businesses run on it today, and it holds a 4.8 rating on the App Store and 4.9 on Google Play.

Against Wise Software, the pitch is a modern flat-priced system with the phone, AI receptionist, texting, and marketing built in, instead of a per-tech meter on legacy software.

The bottom line

Two different tools for two different businesses. Here is the honest split.

Choose Wise Software if…

  • You run a pool store and need point of sale plus service routes in one system
  • You order through Pool360 and want it wired into your software
  • You track water test readings and store inventory as part of daily work
  • You have used it for years and three decades of stability matters to you

Choose Autopilot if…

  • You are service-first and do not need a retail counter

Switching from Wise Software takes an afternoon

Four steps, and our team does the heavy one for you.

  1. 1

    Export your customers

Pull your client list out of Wise Software as a CSV. Every FSM platform supports this, and it takes about five minutes.

  2. 2

    We import everything for you

Send us the file and our team loads your customers, jobs, and price book into Autopilot as part of free onboarding. No spreadsheet wrestling on your end.

  3. 3

Point your phone number at Autopilot

On Full Throttle, keep your existing business number. We port it or forward it, so calls start landing in Autopilot with recording, transcripts, and the AI receptionist behind them.

  4. 4

Run both for a week, then cut over

Your Wise Software account keeps working during your free trial. Most crews book their first Autopilot job on day one and cancel the old subscription within the month.
