Who is Fieldd?

Fieldd is a VC-backed, mobile-first field service platform that skews toward auto detailing, mobile car care, and cleaning businesses, with roughly a thousand customers reported as of 2024. Its signature is the customer experience: Uber-style live dispatch and tracking, a polished online booking flow, and on higher plans a branded customer app with your own logo on it.

Published pricing starts at $199 a month for the Start plan (2 to 10 users), $299 for Scale (5 to 30 users, adds advanced marketing and the branded customer app), and $999 for Pro, with 25 percent off for annual billing. Integrations run through QuickBooks Online, Square, and mostly Zapier, and a free trial is not advertised on the pricing page.

If your business sells on a slick customer-facing experience, think mobile detailing where the customer watches the van arrive, Fieldd earns its price. For most home service crews, $199 a month buys the look but still leaves calls, texts, and marketing scattered across other tools.

Who is Autopilot?

Autopilot is an all-in-one CRM built for home service businesses: junk removal, cleaning, landscaping, moving, and the rest of the trades that keep neighborhoods running. Plans start at $49 a month for scheduling, estimates, invoicing, payments, and online booking. Crew at $99 adds two-way texting and limited calling. Full Throttle at $149 adds the full phone system, AI receptionist, QuickBooks, GPS, and marketing tools. Plans include 1, 5, or 10 team members respectively.

It was built by a founder who ran his own junk removal company and got tired of paying for three tools that didn't talk to each other. Over 400 businesses run on it today, and it holds a 4.8 rating on the App Store and 4.9 on Google Play.

Autopilot plans start at $49 a month, and the $149 Full Throttle plan includes the full phone system, AI receptionist, QuickBooks, GPS, and marketing tools.

The bottom line

Two different tools for two different businesses. Here is the honest split.

Choose Fieldd if…

  • You run a mobile detailing or car care business where the customer-facing app is the brand
  • You want customers watching a live map as your van heads their way
  • You want a branded customer app with your own logo and are willing to pay $299+ for it
  • Your dispatch model is on-demand, closer to rideshare than to a weekly schedule

Choose Autopilot if…

  • You want two-way texting and limited calling on Crew at $99, with plans starting at $49
  • You want a built-in business phone with call recording and an AI receptionist answering missed calls
  • You want review requests, SMS and email campaigns, and automated sequences included
  • You want a free 2-week trial you can start today, no card required
  • You want QuickBooks sync included rather than a Zapier-first integration story

Switching from Fieldd takes an afternoon

Four steps, and our team does the heavy one for you.

  1. 1

    Export your customers

Pull your client list out of Fieldd as a CSV. Every FSM platform supports this, and it takes about five minutes.

  2. 2

    We import everything for you

Send us the file and our team loads your customers, jobs, and price book into Autopilot as part of free onboarding. No spreadsheet wrestling on your end.

  3. 3

Point your phone number at Autopilot

On Full Throttle, keep your existing business number. We port it or forward it, so calls start landing in Autopilot with recording, transcripts, and the AI receptionist behind them.

  4. 4

Run both for a week, then cut over

Your Fieldd account keeps working during your free trial. Most crews book their first Autopilot job on day one and cancel the old subscription within the month.
