Who is QuoteIQ?

QuoteIQ was founded by working contractors Mike Vidan and Justin Rogers, and it shows: the product is strongest in exterior cleaning trades like pressure washing, with tools such as aerial square-footage measuring (MapMeasure), AI photo estimating, and a before-and-after image generator. It claims over 40,000 users and prices flat, from $29.99 a month for one user up to $699 for unlimited users, with a 14-day free trial, month-to-month billing, and a price-lock promise for existing customers.

Its AI suite is real and broad: a Virtual Call Team that answers calls 24/7, an AI assistant they call AutoPilot that runs CRM actions from plain language, estimate generation, and image tools. The catch is the meter. Every plan comes with a monthly allowance of AI credits, 500 on the $29.99 plan up to 8,000 on the $699 plan, and the AI features draw against it. Useful features are also tier-gated: in-app calling and texting, campaigns, and QuickBooks arrive on the $149.99 Pro plan, and customer self-scheduling on the $299 Elite plan.

One thing to keep straight: QuoteIQ's AI assistant is named AutoPilot, but it has no relation to Autopilot, the company behind this page. Same word, different products. For a solo pressure washer, QuoteIQ's $29.99 entry is honestly hard to beat. For a crew that lives on the phone, the credit meter and tier gates add up fast.

Who is Autopilot?

Autopilot is an all-in-one CRM built for home service businesses: junk removal, cleaning, landscaping, moving, and the rest of the trades that keep neighborhoods running. Plans start at $49 a month for scheduling, estimates, invoicing, payments, and online booking. Crew at $99 adds two-way texting and limited calling. Full Throttle at $149 adds the full phone system, AI receptionist, QuickBooks, GPS, and marketing tools. Plans include 1, 5, or 10 team members respectively.

It was built by a founder who ran his own junk removal company and got tired of paying for three tools that didn't talk to each other. Over 400 businesses run on it today, and it holds a 4.8 rating on the App Store and 4.9 on Google Play.

Autopilot plans start at $49 a month, and the $149 Full Throttle plan includes the full phone system, AI receptionist, QuickBooks, GPS, and marketing tools.

The bottom line

Two different tools for two different businesses. Here is the honest split.

Choose QuoteIQ if…

  • You are a solo pressure washer or exterior cleaner and $29.99 a month is the budget
  • You quote from aerial measurements and want MapMeasure built in
  • You want AI image tools like before-and-after generation for your marketing
  • You like the price-lock promise and plan to stay on one tier for years

Choose Autopilot if…

  • You want the AI receptionist and phone included and unmetered, no credit balance to manage
  • You want the full phone system, AI receptionist, QuickBooks, GPS, and marketing on the published $149 Full Throttle plan
  • You want online booking in every plan instead of the $299 tier
  • You want call recording, transcripts, and AI call summaries on your business line
  • You run a general home service crew rather than an exterior cleaning business

Switching from QuoteIQ takes an afternoon

Four steps, and our team does the heavy one for you.

  1. 1

    Export your customers

Pull your client list out of QuoteIQ as a CSV. Every FSM platform supports this, and it takes about five minutes.

  2. 2

    We import everything for you

Send us the file and our team loads your customers, jobs, and price book into Autopilot as part of free onboarding. No spreadsheet wrestling on your end.

  3. 3

Point your phone number at Autopilot

On Full Throttle, keep your existing business number. We port it or forward it, so calls start landing in Autopilot with recording, transcripts, and the AI receptionist behind them.

  4. 4

Run both for a week, then cut over

Your QuoteIQ account keeps working during your free trial. Most crews book their first Autopilot job on day one and cancel the old subscription within the month.
